Our Mission & Vision
Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation (SWNCBC) empowers communities through housing, development, and economic opportunity—so rural Nebraska thrives from within
Mission
Creating and Improving Housing to Open Doors for Economic Opportunities.
Vision
An organization that grows with the housing needs in Southwest Nebraska.

Our Story
Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation began with a simple idea: that rural communities deserve the same opportunity to thrive as anywhere else. Founded by local leaders who saw gaps in housing, infrastructure, and economic support, SWNCBC was created to be a connector—linking small towns with funding, guidance, and tools to grow.
Over the years, we’ve built partnerships with municipalities, nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors across the region. From grant support to program development, our mission has always been the same: strengthen Southwest Nebraska from the inside out—one community at a time.
Core Values
At SWNCBC, we believe that strong communities are built through practical support, trusted partnerships, and access to opportunity. Every program we offer is designed to meet real needs. Whether it’s helping a family stay in their home, supporting local leaders with funding, or guiding small towns toward long-term growth.
